Is it the Blaupunkt stereo?

If so if you dont have the code you need to get in touch with them to get it. Probably work out cheaper and less hassle to buy a new cheap headunit.

You could try looking for one of them mobile people or look for a motorspares place that does radio decoding.

Theres one near me who charges

I have heard Audi owners who did not have their code after they removed the radio or replaced the battery, etc, and they could call Audi and get the code over the phone. Maybe you can do that with Skoda? Try calling them and ask. They might try charging you for it, in which case ring around a few dealers and see if someone will do it for nothing.

Chuck it in the freezer for 15 minutes.

You beat me too it John.

Mis-spent yoof, innit :D

Would not think that that would work?

Would it not freeze up then get damp in everything and then blow up more stuff?

Chuck it in the freezer for 15 minutes.

IIRC Only seemed to work on ford radios..probably froze the valves :)

Manufacturers sometimes put the code on sticker attached somewhere in the car or owners manual..(on back of ashtray for Peugeots IIRC) have a shufty around in the cabin

Yep, was for Ford ones, but hey, who knows ;)

The code engine is really easy you just put in the serial code and hit the button and it brings up the radio code.. worked first go for me.. well worth
