A sheep nicked my camera!

Featured Replies

SWMBO caught the moment when this cheeky ram at Staglands wildlife reserve nicked my camera!!
The strap was dangling so he grabbed it and ran down the hill, $1000 of camera and lens bouncing along the rocks behind him.
He also bumped my 3 year-old and knocked her over. I think I pass the dad test because I stopped chasing the camera and went to her
There are a couple of scuffs on the top of the camera and bottom of the lens and my lens hood is cracked on both sides, which saved the lens I think. Glad I added that $6 item

Now that is something you don't hear everyday :)

Glad your daughter is ok though, your right possessions can be replaced but children need our protection and love.

Well done dad!

I was hoping so, but no :(

Must have been a ram raider

That would have made an interesting insurance claim call,

"I wad my attention distracted by a stag licking my hand, and this ram blind sided me, jumped up, ripped the camera from my hand, and had it away on his hooves"

" Err right....

Possibly wanted to get a few snaps of his GF,called Baabera

That'll be one to tell the grand kids about!

Glad no one was seriously hurt

One of my favourite thread titles ever :D Glad your daughter and the camera are OK

Next time leave the camera running in video mode and see what the sheep gets up to when you aren't there :)
