Please be prepared to be bored with stupid questions regarding this car...would say at this point not completely...but almost clueless when it comes to replacing parts however, I know how to take the parcel shelf out

Hello and welcome from another Briskoda person!  I've been to your lovely island, before the flood and then the forest fires!  Some very serious hills, didn't fancy dragging a hire car around though. I'm not a sword fish eater either, though your beer is okay - always drink the local beer is my motto!

Hi thanks for the welcome. Yes without a doubt Madeira is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Yes the floods were devastating however, we bounced back. The forest fires kind of go with the climate. here we are in September at 20.30 and it's still roughly 26º and we get them almost every year. We have just had a really bad one unfortunately, it appears it was arson...... 

 

Madeira has just (I am advised) won the top island destination in Europe in the world travel awards.......I am fortunate enough to live in the capital Funchal..fantastic and vibrant city..and yes the local beer Coral is really good....nope not a swordfish eater either but the Espetada is lovely. If ever you get the chance come back they are just re-modelling the seafront and it's going to be lovely when finished-
