hello, i'm new to the site and thought id say hello. I've bought a 57plate Ocativa VRS, collect it next Saturday...looking forward to it! What are they like to live with, anything i should know? :-)

sounds like music to the ears!! My previous car was, still is for the time being, an MGZS 180, 2.5, bought it new on a 52 plate! Love the thing but time for a change.

I bought the car in blue, its a 57plate, low mileage, service history etc ete, but its only got 17" Zenith alloys, i might be looking to upgrade to 18's!

You will hopefully love the car. I came from a Vectra C SRi CDTi and can say i have noticed the difference in the both....there is basically nothing to compare..... The cars themselves drive really well. In my view, and I can say for a big engine, the car is actually very good on economy....never gonna compare to a diesel but am happy....

Have a read the above about 17s vs 18s.....its really interesting to see what people thing. To me i prefer the 18s, but then i have the TSI 2010 FL and in my personal opinion, the 17s would look awful on mine.....

the 18's would fill the arches better me thinks! lol, I haven't got even got the car yet and i'm thinking about wee things to do to improve its looks!

one question though, I have a Parrot CK3100 hands free system to fit, is it reasonably straight forward?

They maybe but am unsure but have a little search on the forum and im sure somewhere in there someone will have written something about it...

so, I picked up my Octavia vrs at the weekend, and all is well, infact all is better than expected!

the advert for the car said ...17" wheels, its got 18's!

the advert said electric front windows...all 4 are electric

its got the arm rest with vents in, not sure if that's standard equipment or not

 

but I like it, a lot!
