Evening all !

Well I've been looking to change my car for a few weeks now, had a look at golf, Leon etc.

Well popped to the lical skoda dealer to clamber all over the new octavia VRs in diesel guise.

After a test drive and a quick haggle it was a no brainer.

Will have to wait until November for delivery but cannot wait.

I'm selling my range rover Evoque and after today's drive - I won't miss it !

Look forward to having a good trawl through this great site and getting stuck in !

I've gone for the hatch version in manual 184 diesel.

Options ticked are sat nav ( smaller screen version) , privacy glass and heated seats.

Oh and metallic silver.

 Enjoy.....and start counting down the time....

Grrr its gonna be a long wait !!!!!

Hope you don't have to wait as long as some on here for your Octy III, there are one or two already waiting 5 months and counting......

I think the sunroof option coupled with a DSG box seems to be the worst affected, so hopefully you'll be ok, average wait seems to be 10-12 weeks.

Cheers Matt - dealer suggested 10-12 weeks.

Might have to use the wife's defender if the weather gets too bad for the bike lol

Well sad day, the Evoque went today, dealer wanted it early before the new 9 speed auto arrives.

Signed the final order documents today, been trawling through the brochure this week for final options list and its been ordered as follows:

vRS in bright silver

5 dr hatch

Manual 184 deezer

Sunset glass

Canton audio

Winter pack

Sat nav (cheaper version)

Front mudflaps

Boot liner

Very very pleased with final build spec just a long wait now !
