Candy Pink Yeti with Baby Blue Roof

Featured Replies

Just passed a candy pink Yeti with a baby blue roof coming the other way (going towards Milton Keynes on the A605). Please tell me it doesn't belong to anyone on here.

Candy pink? I'm confused (not difficult I admit).

So that's what Bob has been up to in his absence  :wonder:   :giggle:

I was thinking more along the lines of it not being a colour option as opposed to knowing what Candy pink looks like! As my (vet surgeon) wife would say, it's not as bad a colour as calf diarrhoea. Oh hang on, sorry, that's Bronze metallic. 'Only joking!

Was a standard colour on 1960s Volvos

Nice!

Good to see that someone else is aware of the colour :giggle:

On a separate note MacFadyin, I was amazed at the prices of cars in the EU when looking at an old thread in these forums. Whilst the Netherlands doesn't seem half as bad as those in Norway, I guess we're pretty lucky in the Uk, given what we pay for our Yetis. Are salaries paid in the Netherlands (and Norway) much higher than in the Uk?

If they have any parity with Germany, yes.

May just be a wrap, maybe for a business?

There was no signwriting on it. The roof was baby blue and the pink was a little lighter than the car in post 4. It looked hideous.

It was driven by a guy.

Girls are allowed to like Yetis too, or is it a male closed shop society :)

Someone locally had something similar, not sure what car, sign written with their cupcake business.

It was driven by a guy.

I passed two cars with personalised plates on the motorway last week

One with JEN, one with AMY

Both driven by blokes, so owner and driver don't have to be one and the same person

At least it makes the Yeti stand out :)

Probably an undercover Cop car hiding in plain sight.

Or driven by a particularly extroverted Julian Clary type.

Or bought as a present by the GSOH wife of a totally colour blind husband.

Or owned by a  descendent of Barnum T Barnum.

See quite a few different cars sprayed pink in our area ,believe its something to do with cancer research support.
