What's my car worth?

Featured Replies

Mods, I'm not trying to sell my car with this thread at all in the slightest! Just want to get people's genuine opinions on what my car is worth as I am merely contemplating putting it up for sale around christmas time

55 plate

Silver

105k

Belts and waterpump done at 71k in Nov 2009 (guess they need doing again?)

Completely stock aside from the wheels being powdercoated gloss black

Very tidy for the age

Full black leather interior

A/C

Would come with 6 months tax and 12 months MOT.

Anyone have an idea of what it would be worth? The market seems so varied, and I can't put my finger on how much more the leather would bring the price up? My guestimate would be around £3600?

Any history? There are cars on autotrader same age/miles for £3700 at a dealer. Selling it private maybe put it up for £3500 & take a little less. Leather will add nothing just make it shift quicker. If there is no history than knock a chunk off that suggestion. Of course it depends on the person.

Just check autotrader & eBay/pistonheads & here and price accordingly, I don't know what more anyone can do tbh.

History wise it's got no service book however I've got a couple or receipts and gotten lucky as it was serviced for most of it's life at one dealer so I emailled them and they have sent me a copy of what work they did and when, so really it's good I'd say good but part service history.

And before anyone else PMs me, no I will not sell the seats seperately

i bought a 1 previous owner 55 plate with 80k on the clock

full Skoda service history (14 stamps)

cambelt and water'pump done and totally standard engine and body for £2700

i personally wouldn't buy 1 without any service history

Looking at autotrader, I'd start asking £3400 for it and if you get no calls drop it to £3200.....if you get an offer over £3000 take it!

if I was you I'd get some cash and normal seats your way for the leathers as it won't bump the price you can sell the car for if that's what your hoping. Only takes half an hour to take the seats out, and before you ask I don't want them lol, maybe bump it it to the price your hoping to get for it.

Start a briskoda bidding war :)

DanHam would have your seats if you went down that route he's practically ready to commit crimes to get some lol
