With people's choices which are the the best coilovers for lowering low and for performance ?

Too low will ruin the handling so do nothing for performance. How low was you thinking? What's your budget?

The APs get a good review and are reasonably priced. They're made by kw I believe so should be good quality

I run eibach pro street and they are quality!

I obviously want to get the best for my fab so for suspension I would estimate at £400 , would 60mm lowering springs be worth getting over cool overs ?

I wouldn't go for springs on their own, you'll ruin the shocks. The APs are a little more than that? But are very good for the money.

Kw v1s would be my choice though

Got AP's on mine. Totally transformed it. Try DPM for a kit

****! Mine started leaking after 8,000 miles and 8 months. 12 months warranty was a load of bull **** too, still waiting for my warranty claim from back in March....

The AP shock & spring kit looks very well, I've seen 2 members with it fitted now and the height is perfect.

That looks a nice height. Thought 25mm would be a lot higher than that. I could definitely settle for 30-35's i think without it looking too low

Take the helpers out on the front and cut the bump stop down a little bit and remove the adjusters on the back

I run AP's in mine and they are awesome, ride quality is good and handle class ! If I was going to go for another set thow I would go for D2 racing, they are a little more expensive and a much firmer ride but they come with adjustable top mounts and fully adjustable.

I'v just booked myne into shark performance today. Im getting weitec ht gt coilover, vmaxx drop links and full straight through milltek fitted! And she is going into the body shop today for some respray and splitter fitted ect

I've got weitec hicon gt coilovers and would recommend them. I've had them on my car for just over 3 years (35-40k miles). I paid £450 from dpm but they are now £600. Can see why people are now going for cheaper coilovers. But then again you get what you pay for.

Yeh the guy at shark told me the JOMs are okay for the money but he will be expecting me to return in 6 months times with a new set :/

So I went for the weitecs! Can not wait it is box standard at the min apart from a shark remap. She is getting £2000 spent on her.
