Just joined! Octavia Combi 2.0l TDI PD 2008.

Featured Replies

My Combi was bought new in Belgium in 2008, LHD with normal continental European spec. Imported into UK in 2010 and (at great expense) converted to legal UK spec and UK registered. This included moving the rear fog light from the left hand light cluster to the right. The Skoda dealer who did the conversion told me that I could not have both rear fogs working. I drive a lot in Belgium and France and wanted this arrangement for safety. With the availability of high-brightness multi-LED lights, is it possible to "convince" the car computer system that it has only one rear fog working if only 21 watts is drawn from two LED lights and a load resistor?

Welcome to Briskoda. I don't think anyone here has managed to enable a second rear foglight on the Octavia II.

Welcome :hi:
