I have recently purchased an r32 steering wheel and was looking to fit it. I was wondering what size torque/spline is required to remove the steering wheel, as I don't want to have to remove the air bag only to find out I don't have the correct size bit.

Im almost sure a t50 torx bit will open it. l'll double check the size in the morning

It takes 2 min to pop the air bag off the nut is clearly visible underneath.

A T50 torx bit done the trick bud. I had to go out and buy one as my biggest was a T40. Replaced the steering wheel today.
