Columbus HDD question

Featured Replies

Hi

Just bought  a 62 plate 3.6 4x4 Estate - worked everything out except the hard disk - When I prerss the media button I see CD and AUX highlighted, but HDD greyed out

If I press Extras - HDD Capacity I see Capacity 18.62 GB, Free 18.62 GB, In Use 0.00

I see that Setup - media - activate aux input toggles the AUX on and off in the media view - but I can't work out how to "turn on" the HDD....

Any help greatly appreciated

Guy

If there is no music on the HD then it won't show up as being available.

You'll need to copy some MP3 files off an SD card on to the HD then you'll see it and be able to play the music.

Aah...thanks - I was expecting to be able to record onto the HDD from a CD when I put it in the CD drive - Is this possible? or is it only from the SD card?

Thanks again

Only from the SD card.

DVD or CD too...(for me).

Only if its in MP3 format.

Buying a CD from HMV (for example) and putting it in the slot won't allow you to copy the music across.

I stand corrected - I'd never tried it from a disc.

Why burn a CD of MP3's and throw it away when you can put them in a reusable SD card?

That's probably why you haven't. And neither have I...
