I have been looking at the redituning remap on ebay, they are mobile and having e-mailed them they say that the remap on a std octy vrs will produce in the region of 210bhp and torque curves peaking at 4K with a spread of 3-5Kk regions developing around 240Lbs/ft.

Has anyone on the site experience of the redi remap, a guy I contacted said he had had the remap on his 180bhp Bora, uses the same K03S , and was getting above 200bhp but his fuel consumption was down by 1/3 :eek:

and that the turbo spooled up very low down which made it difficult to drive slowly. The remap is only

Try AMD - they now offer a one-click remap for the 1.8T and I believe they also have a mobile service (someone on here used to have it on his signature)

Looking more for comments on the redituning, if anyone has got their car remapped with them, I know of all the other tuners who remap, AMD, APR, REVO, JABBA, Angel tuning, superchips, they are all expensive comapred to this for

On a related note, try an advanced search for posts by me or rich1068 and superchips, not all that is well priced is good.

The k03s will spool low down, remapped or not, just the effects are different...

fuel economy down...not unheard of, by a third...assuming 30mpg avg unmapped he's now 40mpg avg? I can hit 40 odd for brief periods, but at best a good remap has lifted my econ by 2 or 3 mpg, less really as I use it more etc.

Now that search thing was unreleated and it may be the best thing on the market...my guy feeling is that it won't be. The choice is of course yours

Any spikes on his graphs etc, boost level etc..questions I myself never asked, but now do.

A couple on here have had the Fabia's done IIRC. They reckon it's ok.

What you should bear in mind is that it is only an 'off the shelf' map. There will be no rolling road print, not specific tuning for your car etc.
