I'm just about to change my Yeti for a Tiguan, for various reasons I need a bigger car. As a result I've got a few bits I'm selling, see link.

If you need a bigger car why on earth are you buying a more or less identical car?

Yes I do,but the Tiguan will allow me to tow a bigger caravan.

Snap ... have also just ordered a Tiguan ... a 177 TDi R Line .... will be a better match for the new van we have on order and offers 100Kg noseweight limit.

Will miss the Yeti a great, just a pity it is so light.

Nice to meet you tonight bob. Don't forget to give me a yell when the yeti lookalike arrives and I'll code your towbar. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 4

Great to meet you too. Should be able to recognise your car now.

We found inch bloody useless. Went looking for a golf and then three months later they bothered to call back. We'd bought from specialist cars in Kirkcaldy by then.

Ordered mine in Wishaw ... have been in to Inch in the past and the ignored a specific request so they can forget it!

Have to wait till November/December for the car and December for the caravan ... how come I never ever order something with early availability!

Will miss dealing with West End Skoda ... its just been so easy and hassle free over 5 cars.

Traitor :p

Inch sold a colleague of mine a complete lemon. She rejected it after 3 months. Next day it was for sale on their forecourt. :o

To be fair to Inch , I have dealt with them for years and never had a problem most of which was before they were taken over. Recommended them to a friend at work who was happy with the way they treated him.

Could go on about the Passat I bought from Trust Wishaw which mysteriously was written off before I could collect it. There are bad stories about most garages. I'm sure Arnold Clark will not disappoint. Good luck with the new car and caravan, you getting it from Knowepark?

No danger!  Knowepark is on my hit list!

We deal with Duncans over at Wishaw .... perfect service, the family all own and use their own caravans (which makes a difference IMHO) and they are enthusiastic about their product .... sadly Knowepark has lost the family touch.

Very seriously considering the Tiguan myself back in 09 but waited to see the Yeti before committing to a VW order; the rest they say is history. Only part of the VW I found off-putting was the very dated dash, which sadly remained after the 2011 facelift, although generally it worked far better for the Tiguan than Skoda's effort on the poor Yeti, IMHO obviously.

The bit of the Tig i'm less keen on is the dash.

Indeed. Also not 100% convinced about the styling, but could probably live with that. But the main stumbling block is no Stop/Start AFAIK, which means that the higher powered petrols are up at 199 CO2.
