Galaxy Samsung S3 and poor bluetooth connection

Featured Replies

I have struggled on since March with my galaxy s3 and the the satnav unit, the issues I faced where freezing up needing a reset of the pid, poor broken music streaming then loss of connection and finally the most frustrating part was phone calls only coming through on the handset rather then through the car speakers so I have upgraded early to a Samsung S4 and what a difference it all works as I had been hoping it would from day 1. So my advice if you are suffering with issues it may be a newer handset could be the answer.

I have trouble with my S3 also

In fact, I've given up trying to use the PID for hands free calling

Cant upgrade to an S4 just yet unfortunately :(

Same here with S3. Maybe the imminent upgrade to Android 4.3 may help ? Then again perhaps not...........................

Well I replaced my trusty old Blackberry with an S4 a few weeks ago, so that is really good to hear. Bring on the PID challenge :)

iPhone 5 works ok. Get the odd break up streaming music on Bluetooth but the rest is good.

Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk.

I've just paired mine with my xperia t and it looks as if it's paired Ok at the minute.

I have been using my S3 with my Garmin PID since day one without issue....running Jelly Bean 4.1.2

Jolly good. My wife still has an S3 so I was wondering how I was going to break the bad news!

Maybe the Garmin PID is the answer then  ??

I have a Nokia Lumia 610,lets see see how the PID gets on with the Windows system.

Mine play's up sometimes but it works.

Problems with mine too but a reset usually does the trick still a year left till I can get out of my contract
