I guess the helmet was rented with the car so she left it in the (liveried) car...  I can't imagine they'd let her go without a helmet.  Though why would she then have so much stuff with her? But then on the other hand it is Russia where anything goes it seems.  Who knows!

Says enough about the solidity of the car though to be able to just hop out like that. Imagine stuffing a Mk1 Fabia into the armco like that!

My dad did the exact same, not drag racing, in his VW Passat, although flipped it on the M3 as well one morning. No one else injured, he landed the right way up in the end and fractured his back in two places, but still managed to walk away. Aquaplaning must be horrible, just having absolutely no control.

Supersport tyres, pouring rain and doing a high speed run/dragrace  :wall:

 

(but still, this lady does have some balls!)
