Also anyone have a part number as I've taped over it, lol.

thats the one but tape is not an effective repair, also if that pipe is like putty or split then chances are the lower one and the thin one to the manifold will be as well so it is worth doing them at the same time.  you can also throw in extra one way check valves if you are remapped and want to get the maximum psi.

If that one was split chances are it is also a bit putty like, squeeze it and yo will know. The lower one will be fubar as well. When you work on the pipes under the manifold though make sure you get old of a dipstick tube as that will be brittle as well and it WILL break when you stick your hands under there :D

Reminds me of the famous saying. "If you can't fix it with duck tape, then your not using enough duck tape!"

I broke mine while i was working with the pipes!

Great advice

First thing I did to my LCR/octavia ..ripped all the PCV system out..fit a catch tank, won't have to worry about any of it anymore.

Change the pipe today, no wonder it split. Was full off crap, a very small flow hole.

Checked what I could of the other pipes, a little messy with no visual splits in them. But think I will change for piece of mind at some point soon.

The gases that come out of the crank are noxious and they rot the rubber over time. The newer ones from the dealer are a better grade.
