TT/LCR front end part numbers pleeeeeeease?

Featured Replies

Right guys,I'm off to Birmingham in a bit to pick up a LCR front end which I'm getting for a bargain price!

Does anyone have the correct part numbers so I can check them against these bits to make sure I'm not getting pumped!

Cheers

  • I thought they were different..... Maybe we could have a mini mini group buy, just us two???

  • no difference other than the subframe bushes that attach it to the chassis as billy states which are these   Rear of subframe bolts x 2 N90752802 Front of Subframe Bolts x 2 N90734902 Upper moun

Theres lots of variations mate

Check its cast withbones n hubs and its a good start :)

But for what ur paying its worth a punt even if not

The wishbones themselves should be: 8N0 407 165 (passenger side) & 8N0 407 166 (driver side)

They're the easy bits to identify though

Thanks mate,it's more the hubs I'm worried about!

The rack is still on the car so not to bothered about that either tbh!

Thee should be a lower brace bar fitted. And the big subframe bushes will be the more solid aluminium? Ones...

So the TT lcr subframe itself is different to is it ?

They fell off a Leon!

He's legit guys, got the Leon shell on his drive with a cover over it!

To say I'm stoked is an understatement! :-)

Would my vrs polybushes for the subframe and wishbones fit the TT/LCR setup by any chance???

I also know a guy breaking a lcr if anyone interested. I just had his fuel pump and will be taking injectors.

Sent from my Samsung S3

( of to rob i go )

I'll be speaking with him tomoro mate

No mate different bushes in the cast arms

Technically not true buddy for poly bushes

They are all the same.(if you don't want castor increase)

The OEM std bush for LCR is same as a Audi TT (solid) as apposed to the voided bush in the VRS, but in terms of dimensions the LCR/TT solid bush is a great upgrade to the VRS wishbone.

But for your LCR arm your poly bushes are ok  as the none OEM poly bush is already a upgrade so they are all solid and the same for each VAG car with the Mk4 Golf Platform

Mind you if you are going for better handling with LCR i would fit the castor angle bushes personally.(which is what Billy listed)

Yes it is dude  so don't panic

I was referring to your comment to vrsmark as he has poly bushes that he could,  if he wanted use in his LCR wishbones with no issue what so ever.

Ah lol :D

Im sorting mark...... Well via rob :D

What mark said its all interchangable but the castor bushes need the cast wishbones. Thats all

Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated!

I'm just wondering about the bushes in case my std front end doesn't sell I can rob the bushes off that to save a few quid!

But like you say,it's best to do the castor bushes if I'm gonna mess around taking it all off again.....

Once bushes are in mate thats it. You wont get them out in one piece mate.

If your strapped for cash get std ones. Its still a brill setup with them mate.
