Erasing music from Hard drive on Columbus

Featured Replies

I shall be picking up my new car in a few weeks and I was wondering if there is a easy way to delete the music from my existing HDD when I hand the old car back to the leasing company. I don't recall seeing a option in the menu for deleting anything on block, only one by one and with about 10,000 tracks, it will take some time using that method.

Anyone have any ideas?

You can delete a folder at a time.

But you can't delete everything, you have to have one file left in root for some reason.

There's a 'factory reset' option, but I'm not sure exactly what that does as I'd expect it does exactly what it says.

Many thanks, KBPhoto, you're spot on and I have already deleted all but the best songs which I'll do just before I collect the new car.
