Hi all,

 

I was wondering if I am able to fit a auto dim rear view mirror to my vRS? If so do I just need the mirror or will I need more? 

 

I have an 08 plate vRS and have been told its pre facelift the one that doesn't have the curved lights lol.

Well I just thought with a rear view mirror it was a sensor in the mirror its self so when light comes from behind it just auto dims for you but looks like I am wrong lol.  Massive boooooooo because I will really miss this feature.

I retro fitted an auto dip mirror to my Focus without rain/light sensors and it seemed to work ok. Can't say it will definitely work on the Octavia.

I think the procedure is the same for Octavia.

Ebay one doesn't look too bad whereas that full retro fit looks a bit of a ballache!
