So I've been lurking for a while doing some research and contemplating the 3month wait for a factory order! Got a call on Friday from the dealer, someone had cancelled their order! Result !

Picked it up at 5pm today !

Not only that, it had the split boot floor!

Lovely car and a nice little bonus with the split boot

Very nice, just like I ordered on Sunday morning.  I also ordered the split floor although the brochure saids you can't.  Skoda ordering system seemd to accept it so now I have to wait until December or maybe even January.  Long long wait now.

Only done 20 miles so far but it's a great little car! Originally was looking at a "Rock Up" but at 13.5k I wasn't impressed! Stumbled across this forum (and the Sport) and ordered without even seeing/driving one!

So far 45+ MPG and a cool looking little car (I was getting under 20 in my zafira!)

Just need to make a list of things to do to her now !

Welcome to the forum. I like them in white.

What does the split boot floor look like?

I got 58mpg out of mine from the first tank. Happy motoring :-)

Not planning anything major, just a few bits and bobs that I think are "missing"! Sill protectors, LED's, getting the anti hijack activated! I used to drive xr2's and this reminds me of my old mk2 ! If they bring out a "hot" one I can see me ending up with 2 !

Congrats on "jumping" the queue with the variable boot! Waiting for my dealer to take delivery of the bits for the boot and fit.....

Ditto. If they ever use the propsed  turbo version of the 1l engine im upgrading straight away!

Unfortunately it looks like VW canned the idea on cost grounds, which i suppose makes sense. 13-15K for a citigo/up/mii is silly money!

Definitely a nice little result - with the floor and all.

Happy driving - time to scrub those tyres...

Yes pity but it'll be turbocharged :)

The new 3 pot engine from Vauxhall is T/charged produces about 113 BHP,imagine something like that in a Citigo, would be awesome.

A turbo version of the Citigo's engine will be available in the new year but there is no guarantee it will be offered on the Citigo. It will have 90 or 110 PS and may be seen first in the Polo or even Golf.

PS It was supposed to be released in the up! GT at the end of this year.

I hope we do get it. Would be awesome :)

Thanks!

A 3.6 V8 would be better, A proper little sleeper, with wider wheels of course

I get my sport tomorrow after a weeks wait due to someone cancelling, can't wait now.
