Boot grab handle thingy

Featured Replies

I took the dog for her usual walk today and thought she was being a bit quieter than usual in the back of the car. When I let her out I noticed little chewed bits of rubbery plastic on the floor. I looked up and discovered she'd chewed away the end of the grab handle!

So, my question is, can this part be easily replaced? I'll have this car for another couple of years first, but before trading it in I'd like to know that I can put things right.

Thanks!

Or you could let the dog in the main part of the car like I did with an earlier Golf, it chewed the steering wheel, handbrake window winders my filofax ( yes sorry I used to have one )

Had the dog another 12 years and she was lovely once she stopped chewing.

Yep, I did the same, left the dog in the front for no less then 15 minutes and by that time she had modified my steering wheel, handbrake and gear stick to such a degree that they all needed replacement :-(

Dog cages are REALLY useful!  And keep your pet safer in an accident as well - As my sister proved when someone T-boned her Astra Estate a couple of years back.

Get a cat  :giggle:

If not in a kitty box they will pick at any and everything around them. Allegedly the seat stitching, headlining, leave unwanted presents (hairballs?)  and even attack parts of the driver... allegedly..  so I'm told.....
