Hi need a bit of advice I have to replace all my breather hoses as their nackerd I had a look earlier and access is hard due to that pump and hoses I don't fancy removing it myself anyone no where the best place to take it to get it removed its just a lot better under the bonnet with this gone easyer to keep clean and asses breather parts I got a silicon hose kit being delivers tomoz need to get it shifted. Why do Skoda install this pump if the cars fine without it ???? Thanks

Just remove the relay. Easiest way to delete it. I have. :)

It's not a difficult job to do, I did mine in two hour long stints over a weekend. Best tip I can give for the awkward top bracket bolt is to get a hex bit->short extension->UJ->long extension ratchet combo and go in from the top.

 

Just remember to get some new coolant when you have to drop off the coolant housing on the head.

Coolant loss is not huge TBH and a top up will be ok.
