vrs drop link nuts

Featured Replies

does anyone no which nuts fit on the vrs drop links as when they have arrived they have no nuts on one of the drop links so as the coilovers are now off the car i cannot use the existing nuts as they do not fit and as we found out they are different on both ends have got an m12 1.5mm pitch for one end but have no idea what is needed on the other was hoping someone would no what size and pitch nut u need for the other end all help is much appreciated thanks guys

Just looked on ETKA,

It shows M12 x 1.5 shouldered nuts in both locations (each end of connecting link). Have you tried the nut on the other end?, and are the drop links correct for your car?. I have checked Pt Numbers for 01' and 05' plate, there are no changes.

Yup. Both ends the same on genuine. You'll find aftermarket drop links have different threads.

So you definitely got the Lemforder ones? Not the Q-drive or Ocap?

If so, then both ends should be M12 metric fine, which is 1.5mm pitch.

I hope these were from a motor factor and not from B&Q. They need to be shouldered, have a suitable tensile strength and have some corrosion resistance.
