UPDATE: whistle or cricket noise on low revs - 2

Featured Replies

Hi,

As few for you were aware about the issue I was experiencing with my brand new Citigo Sport. Below is the link attached for your reference:

Here is the NEWS.....

Yesterday evening I received a call from Skoda headoffice and i heard the good news that they are giving me a brand new replacement car.

This morning i heard from the dealer and he told me that they are ready to order a brand new factory built Citigo. i reached there and I was even given an option to change the spec or the colour of my new citigo (of course i'll have to pay for it). I had a second thought regarding the white colour however my wife was too keen on getting the same red. To be honest i like the red on sport any way. On top of that they gave me a free SupaGaurd for my car as well.

I was over the moon and so happy with the service they provided me. SKODA ROCKS......

Now the wait begins. Might take upto 15 weeks..

Once again I would like to thank you all fro your help and support..

Thanks

Saurabh

At last Skoda have done the right thing.I should think so too with the nonsense you have had to endure.Pity about the wait, what are you doing for transport in the meantime?.

Glad your feeling better about things now :)

Hiya,

They couldnt find the issue which seems bit strange to me. They think something might have fell in the engine which made the noise.

Pleased for you! Hope you get a good one! They're cracking little cars.
