Abs light on permanently,had it on diagnostic and says pump fault,had pump checked and no problems or faults with it,mechanic not sure what problem is,anyone had same problem or any ideas what to do would be welcome

Also got a p0600 fault coming up

ABS flow return pump fault is usually the fuse on top of the battery, details here:

P0600 code?, what was the text with it?, what controller was it in? and do you know what the VW specific code for the fault is.

 

As this has been posted in the wrong section (this is not a guide), I'll move it.

Checked fuse and it was ok,replaced it anyway and still abs light on,going to clean and check sensors tomorrow,it went on diagnostic after as light still on and p0600 came up,something to do with ecu and been told that could be down to battery been low but not sure,will get back to you tomorrow with your reply

Is the ABS on from startup or does it come on after a while?

Abs light on from start,pumps ok had that checked,changed main fuse to it even though that was ok,was going to check and clean sensors but never done that before and it looks like you have to take brakes and discs off to get to it,any advice welcome
