What do you mean when you say ruin? Is this throwing on some 19's and low-as-can-go coilovers? Not really the direction I am looking at, might be something for others to 'appreciate' I really like OEM+

apologies, I think you miss my sentiment a bit.. I've been looking on ebay and you can pick up a mk1 literally for less than £500 now, when they are that cheap it is throw away money so to speak so it doesn't matter if I blows up. Personally I think the newer ones are a bit too good to mess around with, it's quite foolish to modify a car that is the property of a finance company.. I love oem look on a car, especially sleeper cars myself..

Thanks Tom, I do appreciate what you mean, I like to think that this makes being the owner of a tuned Mk2 is a little more elite than the Mk1's :)
