mi witness car dash cam or other brand

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a dash camera that records as you drive?

Are they any good?

If so where is the best place hard wire it so you don't have to use the cigarette socket?

Thanks

Ive connected up a usb port to my glovebox, hard wired to my fusebox. This then powers a mobius action cam (search for it on ebay, great quality and reasonable), via a usb cable from the glovebox through the A pillar and headlining. Its pretty discrete and effective in my opinion.

Depending on your budget Blackvue are well known on here, there's been quite a few group buys as well. There is a sponsor on here that deal with dashcam's. I have the Blackvue 380 installed in the front piggy backed to the ignition, fortunately I haven't needed to use it but I'm sure the day come but ill be prepared. Don't doubt on getting one, just get it. It's happened a few times on here when people have had a bump then said I wish I would of got one now.

Concensus is that they are worth having- I have a Blackvue from smartcam one of the site sponsors and see below for fitting. Hopefully you'll not need it to prove any liability but you can get some amusing footage of some plonkers driving habits Enjoy
