The two connectors which go into each rear speaker seem loose, as they come on when I hold them to one side but go off when I let go. Is it possible to get new connectors, or should I just splice the wires and upgrade them?

I just cut mine and upgraded the speakers, still genuine skoda ones though.

yes it is possible to get new oem ones through your dealer ,you can use your old ones that have the reference number ,the black plastic housing and the wires are 2 seperate items

........you can also find them on ebay sometimes!!

Thanks for the tips, guys. Appreciate it. If I find a cheap set of upgraded speakers on ebay, I might as well do that. I read about the Blaupunkt ones....but none on the bay at the moment.
