After seeing the mk4 recaro conversion done to the fabia on here I wanted to do it myself but have now changed my mind so these need to go before I change my mind... again.

They are genuine recaro leather seats from a mk4 golf. I believe they are heated as the button was on the dash in the golf but I never tried it.

Seats are in really good condition along with the door cards.

Looking for 335 collected from bristol. May be able to meet somewhere local or palletise if someone would like to send a courier!

That's a bit cheaper then the other set I was looking at and Bristol isn't too far for me. Urgh this forum is costing me too much money :(

 

I'm going to sleep on it and chat the other half-  can't promise so I won't commit now, not sure if I should hold out for vRS leathers though. GLWS anyway.

thats why im supprised they didnt sell when i advertised them on ebay as i priced them alot cheaper then any other set on there in black.

Thats not too bad at the moment . Leathers in the loft, the other two in the shed. Its my two mountain bikes. Ones in the bedroom. One in the living room..

I would love to keep the leathers and modify them but its too nice of an interior for me to mess up lol the cost of them then being tailored into the back is so.ething I cant afford at the moment :-(

To be honest mate, you can get the fronts and back in yours now with what you have, no worries. I haven't paid for any modifying on the rears of my octy ones and they're fine. The only issue is where the holes don't meet up perfectly for the head rest and middle seat belt. But I bet people would only notice if I pointed it out. I didn't trim the side foam either. Do it! At some point, I'll whip my rear cover off and get someone to use the leather off the surplus middle headrest and cover up the holes (pasty style). I've even considered doing it myself, if I can get my hands on a sewing machine.

I just picked up mine and they are just like that but with the yellow down the middle. The rears will go straight in the backs, pity the front don't also lol

Quick question about the rears... will they go into a mk1 fabia without any messing about? I know the fronts require alot of fabrication and fettling.

I may be mistaken but on mine, it didn't look that bad for the rears but I guess I didn't really fully check every one of the catches etc.

 

The size of the seats looks more or less identical to me - if its the same mk4 set, so like I said above its a much better fit than the fronts i.e. major fettling needed and completely subtitute parts ! If they aren't all the way there, they must be at least 90%

 

The upper part of the seats however I couldn't easily release as I was only having a quick look,

The catches at the bottom appear to be correct.

There is a slight issue with the rods for the lower rear bases seeming to be a slightly different width on ONE of the bases, but its a no brainer, you could probably even bend them to fit.

 

I'm not sure about the click fastening to secure them firmly in place, it looked about right but I'd need to double check when I do mine. Im far more concerned about the seat bases for the front seats TBH

Not for sale anymore, else I'd have had them! They're now in his fabia :-(
