Pipercross induction kit?

Featured Replies

Hi, I have researched about these but not got a clear answer!

Right so I'v recently had a full decat milltek exhaust fitted and it sound much more grunty and like a diesel! But I'd like a little more grunt noise/turbo noise?!!?

Is it safe to replace the stock induction with the pipercross induction kit which is £100ish. I'm willing to pay as long as it isn't going to damage my engine or come up with warning/error lights??

Sorry for essay!

Thanks for all the help, brilliant site!

I recently bought a pipercross cone for my furby and left it in the airbox as much as I can to feed it cold air. i have had no issues at all or any noticeable power loss also the cone remains cool after a spirited drive as I always check once I have stopped. Plus it sounds a little more aggressive. Below is a pic of it in the bay.

I've just took this off and gone to a pd160 and standard filter. Also ran a pipercross induction kit like above. The pipercross was alot louder than the k&n probably because it's foam and not cotton gauze like the k&n. Thinking of going back to a cone filter and selling the pd160 in all honesty just for cash as I've never felt a difference between a pd130 standard set up, 2 different induction kits and what I'm running now if I'm honest
