Hi guys/girls

What products are people using to protect there alloys?

Thanks

I use autoglym wheel sealant, that's pretty good.

A lot of my friends use carbon collective wheel sealant it's meant to be awesome !

Thanks for your help!

Just got some new alloys so want to get protecting them before the bad weather sets in!

I use Wolfs Nano Sealant ....prior to that Optimum Optiseal.( need to get some more)

On my winter alloys, I have used G3 ceramic sealer (not Gtechnik) and a topper of Bilt Hamber Finis Wax

Poor boys wax wheel sealant, need to give them a clean and wax before the winter gets here.

I found I was resealing after only 3 to 4 weeks using PB Wheel Sealant

I have 3/4 of a tub left...I probably wont use it again now

I agree with your comments fella, I'm looking at buying one of the ones mentioned above now tbh for a longer last of the product.

Roughly how long does the wolf nano sealant last?

Cheers :-)

Around 3 months...

but Ive just ordered some Carbon Collective Sealant...so that will /should last 2 years

I'm having my 18's refurbished this winter while I have the Winter Alloys on...so will have plenty of time to get them coated

tagged you in a video on Instagram dude !

Chemical Guys wheel sealant.

I just used optiseal (left to cure for 24hrs) then three coats of collinite 845.

Nanolex Premium on one set and AF Powerseal on another. If Collinite 845 is as solvent heavy as 476, three coats is probably a waste of time as the solvents may just take away some or all of the previous layer.

Finish kare 1000p high temp sealant. Tried poor boys wheel sealant and collinte 476 in the past but this seems to be the best, plus you can use it on the bodywork over winter too so you don't have to buy two seperate tubs!

I'd be interested in a nano sealant to try though.

Got a couple of coats FK1000 on mine, love the way the bead!

Thanks for all you help guys!

Is the fk1000 easy to use? Ie apply and buff off easily? How long do you tend to leave on paintwork before removing?

Leave it 3 to 5 mins max and then buff off
