Turbo troubles

Featured Replies

Evening fellow briskoda-ians

I'm probably going over a topic that's been done to death but I'm a lil bit stumped with my octy vrs

I believe the turbo is dying as have what seems to be the oh so familiar super charger wine em muting from the turbo under boost ....... But I have no smoke and no drop in boost and in fact the octy seems to be going better than ever....

I have recently changed the n75 and the dv to a forge-esque 007 as I was experiencing the surge under boost..... These replacements cured the surge but on Monday whilst driving at low speeds under boost 3rd at 40mph and accelerating the noise started and hasn't gone...

I've owned the octy 3weeks and according to the previous owner it's big standard.... I have had a re-occurring boost drop fault on vag com between dv and inter cooler and have checked all pipes and clips and replaced if suspect but to no avail.... Anyone had this or can any one shed any light...... Answers on postcards accepted too

Ta very much all
