With the fabia vrs front bumper I'm thinking of taking off the number plate block and I was wondering how it is attached and what it will be like underneath would it make it look like a smoothed bumper

Comes off from the rear and no its not smooth. You will need a body shop to cut it all out and plastic weld a new smooth part etc. not a straight forward job.

there was someone with a smoothed bumper wanting to swap for a standard one on the for sale section (i think), not sure if he wanted a swap plus some money though

With that it all depends on colour and as mine is a se would be hard to match :(

ah yeh, either way youd need to paint as if you'd have body work done to smooth it. a bumper respray would be cheaper than body work and a respray. it was silver if i remember correctly

Think it was a standard bumper and a few hundred quid too
