Strange Alloy Wheel question

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Not been around for a while, but now back again as I am once again the proud owner of a skoda. This time it's a 130 PD L&K Estate.

My intention, when it gets cold this winter, is to run on cold weather tyres from approx December to March. With this in mind I have bought a set of good used 16" Le Castellet Alloys from a VW Gold / Bora. This is what they look like:

My question is - Doe anyone know if an off the shelf Skoda logo'd bub cap cover exists, so I could get hold of some to really finish this off? The VW ones look this this:

The central VW badge bit is removeable, but I don't know if there is a Skoda equivalent. I am toying with the idea of getting some rear hatch badges and trying to attach them with glue of some sort. Any bright ideas much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

The centre caps from Skoda Vega alloys "may" fit. I have sizes at home, I'll try and look later. I have a set of Audi alloys which I am looking to do something similar with.

Cheers for that - if it helps, I think it would only work if they have spaces for the three lugs visible in the picture...

Ebay has aftermarket Skoda decals of different sizes for wheel centres, may fit/work?

Here is a thread I started about the vega centre caps, with the size.

When I checked with TPS last winter the part number for the caps is: 1Z0 601 149

Cost was £7.96 +VAT = £9.50 inc VAT

Thanks for this. My VW ones are 165mm so I gues that means the vega ones are too small...

The hunt goes on.
