Hello to all,

 

I might shortly be buying a Fabia VRS 1.9 TDI 2005 with 140k on the clock, only one previous owner, and I have been told it has a full service history.

 

Unfortunately this car is a long way from what I call home, and I cannot drag my mechanic along with me.

 

I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me into what I should be looking for when inspecting the car. Please bare in mind I have never owned a diesel, but I have an idea of what a diesel should sound like from having driven a few here and there.
