skoda stream radio

Featured Replies

the stream radio i my octavia (58 plate ) is clicking when i start it up

it also has a cd jammed in it

does anyone know where i can get it fixed ?

Just replace it, for what its worth.

A Stream (non-MP3 version) is probably only worth about £20-30 with the code.

Since a code retrieval costs about £20 from the dealer, it does indeed make a Stream almost worthless.

An MP3 Stream only goes for about £60-70 with code.

No idea how much a repair would be, but compared to these prices I'd replace it.

Definitely replace it there's so many around for sale from people who have upgraded. Just make sure you get the code with it :)

Has someone put a second cd in on top of one already inserted?

When I got my scout the cd would play but not eject, when I pulled it apart I found the mechanism was jammed with 2 CDs, once removed it worked fine.

If the <potential> Stream mp3 replacement is as much as that then I'd suggest a RCD310 instead as you'd also get access to DAB - with a cheap additional aerial of course.

At least this way you would see something additional for your money.
