Phoned today to get details for winter wheels swap over for next month.

I asked the lady did I have to notify them, she said no !

She asked what they were for, I said greater safety in cold conditions, she said "brilliant" ill add a note to your account you are putting them on !

I asked do i need to let you know about putting summers back on

No said said you sound very knowledgeable im sure you will choose the right time, we love drivers who don't make claims, and it seems you are doing your best to avoid one !!

I laughed wished her a happy Monday and said goodbye

That's good to know. I'm also with Axa. Need to find a set of wheels for my winter tyres now.

Axa beat the next nearest quote for my current MV6 and future VRS by a good couple hundred quid. Been quoted £240 for the year fully comp with legal. Well chuffed. Even better knowing the winter tyres I'll be getting are no problem either.

Hi all, I've had my mk4.5 Octavia vRS for almost 3 weeks and while I find it to be a great car overall, there's some things that are a bit annoying. Lane assist: I understand what it's trying to do but the implementation seems flawed so it's a good thing it's easy to switch off. I had forgotten to turn it off today though and while driving down a road which is wide enough for two cars but only if you stick to the edge of the road, the lane assist kept trying to push me closer to the centre. Today I drove around 150 km on the motorway using ACC/Travel Assist, and I received the “Pay attention to the road” warning roughly 20 times. What concerns me most is that while some warnings might be expected if I briefly glance away, others occurred unexpectedly, even when I was clearly looking ahead at the road. The behavior is similar regardless of whether I’m wearing sunglasses or not, so I don’t think that’s the main factor. At this point, it’s becoming more distracting than helpful. I’

I have a 2021 Octavia petrol with 57k km on it. I've had this problem for at least a year now, it hasn't really gotten worse. There seems to be a rattle sound coming from the clutch area, and it varies when I press the clutch pedal. Sometimes it goes away when I press the clutch pedal, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I need to hold it halfway before it goes away, Then right after that when I press or depress it again it comes back. So it's not consistent, it seems to vary a lot while

Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode
