Owned my fabia vrs for about 2 months now. And i really want to get it sounding better. I have had a quick look around the search menu but havbt foubd alot. So was wondering what is there i could do to get it sounding better and getting to hear theturbo more etc? Hope can help new to this diesel business haha

Search Fabia Mufflerectomy in YouTube. That's the cheapest best option to get a half decent sounding diesel.

Basically what you get done is the back box chopped off and replace with a straight pipe

Here's a vid of mine when I was launching it can hear the exhaust there I've had the mufflerectomy done.

Check out piper exhausts and the threads where they have them fitted.

no I just have a straight pipe in place of the backbox with a twin tip welded onto it :) won't really hear much off a panel tiler but you will with a cone filter, loud sucking and a chatter when you let off the smoke pedal

Ah nice mate i will have to go get some prices :-D

Get a decat done too, when they weld a straight bit of pipe for your back box ask them to weld in some pipe to replace your cat then you should get around £45 weighing your old cat in too so make sure you get it back

Can recommend the mufflerectomy! Had mine done last Friday for £120 which included the back box, centrebox and cat removed and replaced with straight through pipe. I can't hear my turbo spooling but I took my cat to a place that buys them in leeds and they gave me £60 for it as it was the original part :)

£60 all in all and the turbo spools up much faster, think my mpg is increasing too.
