Hi there new here and am looking for a sstraight answer.

Love the funs seating solution and am looking to get this pickup as it ticks so many boxes for me.

As they come up rarely I started to think more laterally about retro fitting the funs seating system into a standard Felicia or. Caddy.

My question is can it be done and has it been done?

I can source all the Parts but once committed to that route I'm flying blind

Should be possible, but I can't see it being easy due to having to take the back wall out of the cab and remake it.

Cheers hoped someone would move me.

Wondering if there are any differences in layout below the body work

Extra strengthening roll bar

Extra plate work

I've not seen anything extra strengthening in the back sections.

 

Essentially when Skoda made these, they just took a truck of the production line and "Funned" it.......mostly by hand!

The rear wall was cut-out to allow the plastic "roll bar" to fit into place, which in turn gives a neat hole for the movable seats to fit and, quite importantly, seal into. 12 holes were then drilled to allow the 3 hinges to bolt onto the load bed. The "roll-bar" was held in place with Tiger-bond as well.

Storage boxes on the sides: best done before doing the moveable wall.

Fischer-Price bumpers front and back.....the front one hangs on a metal plate that is welded to the chassis, the back on slips over the original black bumper and is held in place with a couple of bolts accessed in the rear panels.

Front seats, door cards, dials, sun visors are in the mix too.
