Headlights - sorry!

Featured Replies

I realise this has been discussed before as I've searched the forum but have a question?

Driving home tonight I thought the lights were worse than normal, and that's not good as they are not brilliant when all is ok!!

Anyway once home I checked, and my o/s headlamp is not working, side lights ok but no headlight on dip or main beam.

I may as well replace them for something hopefully brighter!

Question I have is do I need high and low beam bulbs or just one bulb for each light ? I

My car,is a 57 plate scout 1.9tdi. I don't have the lights that go round corners ( can't remember the proper name)

Any help would be appreciated .

Thanks

If you have projector headlights as I do (an 07 plate 1.9tdi) and they're not swiveling headlights, mine aren't either, then they should be single H7 bulbs.

Thanks for that, I've been scrolling the forums and think you are spot on :-) H7s are looking favourite, will get some at the weekend. Been looking on halfords website....... Too much choice !!!!!

I have h7's in an "08", try X TREME VISION, as a replacement.   B)

"Philips".  :nerd:

Yes, Philips Xtremevision or Osram Nightbreakers seem to be the two favourites for the most light without going to HID.

Compare amazon prices for them too, £10 for a set of nightbreakers or £18 for the xtremevision.
