braided brake lines

Featured Replies

hi there just wondering if u know of anywhere that sells braided brake lines for a mk4 ibiza which i believe share common calipers with the fabia, checked goodridge willwood etc, to no avail.

cheers

Doesnt the Fabia well vRS come with braided hoses as standard, which I assume means the MK4 does aswell?

Not sure if they're braided, but they're certainly reinforced so there won't be any real gain in going braided :D

vRS doesn't have braided hoses as standard. They're the normal flexi's. Just swapped my fronts for TT hoses (probably the same!) as part of the 312mm conversion.

mmm have seen braided kits 4 tt and mk4 golf, could have different threads on the caliper side as the fabia and ibiza dont have fs111 calipers, took me a week n half to find pads to fit mine

The original hoses on the Fabia will fit on the TT calipers, it's just that I had the TT hoses supplied along with the calipers.

I know what you mean about the pads! I was trying to find fast road pads for the std set up until this bargain of the 312mm conversion came up!

If you've seen braided hoses for the TT then they will fit the Fabia and I'm sure your Ibiza.

Why do you re-locate fuse 50 then?? What's that supply?

youve heard of the roll down feature of the windows if u hold the key in the drivers lock, well this can be used to gain access to the car, so wat i done was buy the cover thats on the passenger lock where the barrell should be n do away with the lock on the drivers, but if the fuse blows when its locked u cant get into the fuse box cos of its location plus the doors auto deadlock, so wit the fuses moved to a more accesible place if they pop u get in thru the boot replace the fuse and voila, dont know wat it is on the fabia but on th ibiza its 50

Ahh - All becomes clear now.
