Langka Stonechip Repair.

Featured Replies

Ordered some Langka stonechip repair from the States and i'm really impressed with the results!

Its particularly good for those tiny white chips (about the size of a pin head) that show up more on dark coloured cars like mine.

Even the couple of slightly larger chips I had - I cant find without really looking.

Was going to post some before and after results, but got carried away!

After a quick waxing the front of my car looks like new!

Why did you order this from the states? Is there no UK distributor? How much did it set you back?

I've got quite a few of those white pinhead sized spots on my car so am quite keen to do something about it too...

Ordered it through the Langka website (cost around

I ordered some from a car restoration company in the UK (Frosts) you will find them on the web at http://www.frost.co.uk/ - I have used it a couple of times and not had a great deal of success - I haven't given up yet - If I dont get good results after a few more attempts I will contact chips away.

I have a spare door panel for my Felicia I will chip it and practice on before doing it again for real

Can we all practise on that panel John? ;)

I think if you want really good results, you have to build up the layers of paint and repeat the process etc.

Depends how bad the chips are.

Certainly looks a hell of a lot better than the mess you can make with the touch up kit - whatever clever method you use to apply it.

I just ordered a bottle of langka from frost in the UK. It will take over a week to be delivered here, I think. Now I need to order some original skoda touch up paint. The skoda dealer does not have the official touch paint - Instead he sent me to paint shop which they use for accident damaged cars.

Anybody knows where I can order official skoda touch up paint online somewhere near malta?

thanks

A mate of mine bought some from somewhere based in Rochdale, and it cost him less than
