Thoughts on FK Street Coilovers

FK AK STREET COILOVER SUSPENSION KIT & DROP LINKS - What do people think of them? Are they a soft ride?

I've seen some for £189.99 so would that be good?

Cheers

they are real low quality budget types, i cant comment on the fabia ones specifically i've never used them on a fabia, but i have used and fitted loads of FK automotive ak street kits to numerous vehicles.. generally the ride is quite harsh, not very compliant and gets worse the lower they get, they have fixed rate damping on them too which is set to about 35% higher damping rate than the standard oem dampers, they do corrode and rust up pretty badly too so if they have a stainless steel option definitely pay the extra for it if your budget allows for it

Thanks, just thought i'd ask as they popped up on my ebay, I thought they were better than that but if they are harsh and crashy then it's a no no for me lol

****e.

If your looking coilovers like fk you obviously don't want to spend a lot, my advice save up another 200 and get ap coilovers.

They are miles better, much better than joms I had.

These cheap coilovers have a bouncy castle ride.

They are ****, mine died after 8,000 miles.

Had joms which are exactly the same on a previous car, as said way too hard and build quality was really bad! (Top nut came loose twice)

But ultimately they made the car low for cheap, and handle better than excessively low lowering springs.

Had them on mine, Great lows!  But that was it!  The ride was awful!!!!
