When I was looking at brake setups there were reports from people fitting rears from porsches on the front only to find they wernt much cope when it came to giving them some stick. Something about piston sizes and stuff I dont understand. Might be worth a ask about before spending any money.

I was going to say the same matt. I had a quick search on google aswell but couldnt find any info so thought i miss heard.

Its definately something to do with piston sizes. The rear calipers' pistons are too small.

There is a definitive brake thread if you search. Think it was "borrowed" from 'ukmkivs' forum

Pistons mismatched to you cars master cylinder, unfortunately if they are off a Cayenne you may need to stick your foot to the floor to get them to respond. Guys on the Golf R 32 OC have tried Cayenne calipers and had this issue.

Thanks for the replies guys it turns out they are VW Tourage 4 pots from the front I think so they may cope they should fit 350mm discs so anyone know where I can get some brackets made up?

If your search for VAGBremtechnic and contact Dave he should be able to sort some out for you.

Thanks southy I've looked loads and loads on then on internet and doesn't seen anyone had upgraded to these as a big brake kit all have gone the 6 pot route all I know is that these usually run 330mm discs so I think that the standard 334 r32 discs should work fine that way won't need to get any discs made up just ye adapters I'm going to measure the mounting holes on the brakes when they arrive see if they at the same distance as the Porsche adapter you can get on eBay
