Have a mk1 2003 Octavia VRS I just Bought. Really want to replace the standard head unit with a JVC double din affair I took out of my vectra.

Do I need to buy a double din fitting kit? The JVC comes with a cage surround but I couldn't use it in the vectra and had to buy a fitting kit.

Nope... Take out the lower pocket

Maybe remove the plastic H brace for more space

Thanks. Can't wait to fit it and get all the little bits done. The badges are quite warn. Any good sites for replacements? Front bonnet and boolid ones.

I just go in my local dealer and get new

Pastybiy does retro badges and stuff ( or he use too )

Or people use the citigo ones
