That's a really good effort! You'd have thought that that would have been curtains.

Love your plate too!

Glad to hear that

Glad to hear that you are all fixed up, can I just ask what colour is your car

Can I just ask what colour is your car

Amethyst metallic with Ivory interior.

It looks nice, I have just ordered one the same colour and seeing yours has put my mind at rest that it is a good colour to have on the combi

Good Choice, still happy with mine!

Looks great, glad they fixed it. Would of been sad to see the v6 written off.

Looks very good.

Looks Luke they've done aa good job. shame they couldn't get the number plate numbers aligned correctly though....

From the photo, it looks like a job done well - but hard to say without seeing it first hand.

What I do want to say though, is that if that damage had led to the vehicle being declared a total loss, then we would all be paying a lot more to insure our Superbs. If damage such as what this car suffered (not actually all that severe) was leading to vehicles being written off, then our premiums would have to reflect that.

Clever, until you get a particularly pedantic traffic cop wanting to make a point about the proper spacing on number plates - At least OP is not using stupidly placed black fixing bolts to change the actual shape of letters or numbers - like one I see locally with two bolts side by side to make 'II' read 'H'

Believe it or not the illegal spacing (ok I admit it) is only between the 6 and the 1 - the gap between the A and the V is. strictly standard.

Bottom line is that your plate is still perfectly readable, as it should be. It's when folks start mucking about with the shape of letters that an eyewitness could struggle to correctly read a registration number.
