Got halfway there and the throttle just stopped working. No response whatsoever and bizarrely no fault codes. Waiting to be recovered.

£100 down the tube but will try again, probably in the spring.

Oh hell, unlucky mate, have you spoken with Blyton/Javelin because when we went to Oulton Park a Fabia had brake issues and Javelin gave a discount off the next track day. Might be worth a try.

Yeah, with Javelin.

They said they don't normally offer a refund or credit but said to email them as they might be able to do something.

I thought they said email them for something?  Faboka, was this  not the case?

Yup emailed and got a reply.

Not holding out much hope. I'm not expecting a freebie but even a token discount as a GWG. They must do 10% off for clubs anyway.

Depends if the day was fully booked up. If it was i wouldnt expect one, if it wasnt your right, a GWG would be nice

Its amazing how many companies dont seem to value customer service though. Its all about get the cash now, sod the longterm!

 

 

Bad luck tho, Ive been there so feel the pain. Had to miss 3 trackdays in a row a few years back. Tried to run DTA;s E48 and every time it popped the coil a few days before. 

Another time i threw a wobbly on a damper. The damper lost the confrontation badly (thatll teach it for winding up a human male). But it did mean i missed a trackday! 

 

 

Blyton is a great track. One of the hardest concentration wise as its corner on corner on corner. Awesome fun but will test your concentration for sure.
