fitting fuel filter

Featured Replies

I have a copper fuel filter, I notice it has two little o rings and what looks like a white cog at the bottom with a small pipe.

What's the o ring and cog, what do I do with them both?

Throw them in the bin :@

Cooper sorry lol.

Whst do you do with the white cog thing at the bottom of the filter?

That's the drain, Just make sure it's hand tight before you put it in.

The two o-rings are to replace the two on the fuel inlet tube that goes in the top of the filter.

Thanks mate, so does it need rotated too and fits in a hole or pipe goes in a recess?

Cheers

I'm assuming you have a Mk 1 Fabia VRS.

See attached pdf file for some basic instructions.

Fitting is the reverse of removal.

Don't worry about priming the filter jsut keep cranking the engine over a few times until it gets going.
