Citigo wheel bolt torque setting

The Citigo Handbook gives two different torque settings for the wheel bolts.

On page 119 it states 110nm and on page 128 it states 120nm.

My first thought was that this probably referred to the settings for steel and alloy wheels, which is common for some vehicles and especially caravan wheels. To make sure I contacted Skoda Technical and my local dealer for the setting for my standard 14 inch alloys.

The dealer quoted 110nm all wheel types but Skoda initially quoted 110nm for the steel spare and 120nm for the alloys. they phoned back later to correct this and stated "The torque setting for both alloy and steel wheels is 110nm. The figure of 120nm quoted in the manual is an error".

Checked this with the dealer and he confirmed that they tighten to 110nm.

As an aside the wheel bolts used for both steel and alloy on my Citigo Elegance 75 are the same.

Hope this is of assistance.

Mike.
