Rain water coming in!

Featured Replies

I bought a Felicia pickup a few months ago, and ever since I've had it rain water has been coming in, on the passenger side, all over the floor. I don't know how it's getting in but I think it might be the window seal. Anyway, it's now leaked into the fusebox...and for some reason I have a rear window heater indicator light that stays on....even thought I don't have a rear window heater!!

Any ideas on the water leak, on turning the idicator light off( there isn't a button on the dashboard anywhere) would be much appreciated..

Could this water be entering through the pollen filter? Just on the passenger side, not too sure on your specific vehicle but quite common on other VAG cars.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Windscreen would be my bet

Welcome.

Light is caused by water in the fuse box, fuse box is located in the passengers footwell, simple lazy fix is undo the nut holding the fuse box and allow it to hang down, thus preventing to much water build up, won't stop the fuse box gelling wet, so to do fix this properly you will need to sort the leak, windscreen and pollen box are main culprits

Welcome, to the world of Skoda pickups, my suggestion is that you read up on the common Felicia fault thread, I'm a newbie here and have learnt the hard way but ALL the problems I have had have been in that thread so it will be well worth the read for u as a new owner
